What you couldn't see in the smaller photo is that I'm on crutches. I shot this three weeks after foot surgery, which may explain the seriousness on my face. The main reason I took the photo was to chronicle the growth of my beard. I didn't shave the entire 4 1/2 months I was on disability. I don't recommend this, because you could end up looking like this.
